WordPress is a powerful Content Management System (CMS) and blogging platform. Most CMS platforms that offer the power that WordPress does are very expensive. WordPress however is open source and is 100% free to own and install.
WordPress includes an excellent CMS, meaning that you can easily upload all your own content (text, images, videos, links, etc.) without having to pay your web designer to do it.
