Design 1:26 is an “all in one” design firm based out of Saint Louis, MO.  The vision behind Design 1:26 is simple — Create functional and stunning work at affordable prices, while doing all that we can to make the design ride smooth and easy.  We want to be able to assist you in all the major areas of creating your business’ image and online presence.  This is why we offer not only design services, but web hosting, site maintenance, domain name registration, custom email setup, printing services, and video creation.  I mean who really wants to use 10 different companies to achieve just one goal?  We thought so!

With that said, today there are so many companies offering “cookie cutter” sites for clients all over the internet.  Many of these templates are just plain boring or they’re bogged down with unnecessary “eye candy” and “over the top” visuals.  In all that hoopla, they tend to leave out something vitally important – your needs as a client, and the heart of your company.  At Design 1:26 we specialize in creating work that is both functional and appealing, and meets the unique needs of each of our clients. We realize the importance of your image, and the fact that there are no second “first impressions”.

The Name – What’s It Mean?

Many have asked, “What does Design 1:26 mean?”  The name “Design 1:26″ came from Biblical inspiration found in Genesis 1:26.  In this amazing passage we see God design His greatest masterpiece – mankind.  Man was created, or “designed”, in the image and likeness of God – the Creator and Designer of all the universe. This magnificent design gave us the gift and ability to create and design great things ourselves.  When choosing our name, our company wanted a name that symbolized the best in design work, and since Genesis 1:26 is the greatest design work in all creation, we simply took from that!

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, “Let us design man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God designed man in his own image, in the image of God he designed him; male and female he designed them.”
